Tea at the Ritz is the ultimate Afternoon High Tea experience in London…especially if want to pretend to be a lady for the afternoon. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, the choice of several varieties of tea and a delicious menu combine to make for an expensive — yet unforgettable afternoon.
Tea at the Ritz will set you back £42 per person, but you’ll enjoy 2 hours surrounded by elegance, an extensive selection of 17 different types of tea, freshly cut finger sandwiches, baked scones with jam and clotted Devonshire cream, followed by a selection of afternoon tea cakes and pastries. The tip is to arrive hungry as they served as much as we could eat. Stuffing cakes into your purse will only embarrass you and your guests although stealing your menu as a souvenir is fine (right Mom and Dad).
There is a strict dress code at The Ritz where gentleman are required to wear a jacket and tie and jeans are not permitted. Even with five sittings every day, the quintessential Ritz experience means that booking in advance is strongly recommended and tables may need to be reserved at least 12 weeks in advance.
