How many times do you get to ride the streets of London on your bicycle without the fear of being hit by a bus? I’ll tell you, one day a year. London Skyride.
On one Sunday every September, London closes off some of its busiest streets for a massive traffic free day for cyclists to enjoy riding around the capital and taking in London’s famous landmarks. Along with 85,000 other riders, you get to ride by Big Ben and the Parliament buildings, wave hello to the Queen at Buckingham Palace and ring your bell as you pass by St Paul’s Cathedral.
So grab your yellow London Skyride vest, grab your helmet and get on your bike.
