Walking through the gates at Winter Wonderland, you feel like you’re a kid again. Bright lights, rides, Santa and lots of gingerbread. But for all of us big kids at heart…bring on the German beer, Glühwein (that’s mulled wine) and a Bratwurst.

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, is now an annual tradition that would put a smile even on the Grinch. With its traditional German Christmas market selling all the same crap gifts like wooden toys and Christmas ornaments. Winter Wonderland also offers a huge selection of rides and attractions like ice skating or taking a spin around the Giant Observation Wheel — but make sure you book way in advance.

Listen to live bands, check out the Circus, nibble on a pretzel or sit on Santa’s lap…there’s no way you can walk out of here without feeling a little bit of that Yuletide spirit.
