Rock A Hula is a 1950s rock ‘n roll beach party featuring hula hooping and swing dancing event. Every third Friday of the month at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, with DJs and live rock ‘n roll, rockabilly and rhythm and blues bands, take swing dancing lessons (which isn’t so easy) and bowl in this vintage American style bowling alley.

If you’re going to Rock A Hula, you’ve got to make at least a bit of an effort. Grab a grass or poodle skirt, a Hawaiian shirt and slick back that hair. And before you go, make sure your hips are limber as you’ll be hula hooping all night.
